Biryani Kabab in Oakland

I have never had a bad dish here. The food is absolutely amazing! The prices are extremely reasonable with the portion size being a decent size. The staff is so nice!! The lady is so helpful if you have any questions or ask for suggestions. I am in Oakland weekly for work and try to come this place every week. It does not disappoint!

Man, this place is so good. Friendly staff, cozy and clean, and the food... just yum, yum, and yum!!! We had palak daal, samosas, tiki masala, and chicken biryani. The best. Good prices and portions, too. Can't ask for more, really. Enjoy!

I ordered chicken biryani, chana masala , garlic naan and tandoor chicken leg. Everything was absolutely amazing . Chicken biryani was so good with perfect spice. It comes with raita as well. So glad I found this amazing spot. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended.

We went to this restaurant because it’s located right in the Clarion Oakland hotel. The food was decent however the service was not that great. It took a long time for the food to come. It’s reasonably priced and portion size is good. The restaurant atmosphere is ok.

Loved everything we ate here

This was unplanned Luncheon during thanksgiving holidays with family and family friends. The place was quite, obvious as most of the people are vacationing, and we were attended right away. Staff were friendly and took time to explain food- fun part, we grew up eating similar food- Nepalese delicacies. Lamb Kabab was the best for me and other preferred Biryani. Food we ordered as mild however we found them towards spicey and two kids , age 5 and 6 , could not eat them so order your food with special instruction. Overall food was good and we will visit again if happened to be in the area. There is street pay parking so PAY for not to be ticketed. Happy reading, Foodies!

Had recently been in Oakland. I saw two restaurant of the same name and tried from both the restaurant. Had tried Chicken tikka masala and palak paneer from both the restaurant. Both the dish are way better in Biryani kabab than Biryani tikka Kabab. So I recommend people to taste the meal from Biryani kabab (best taste i ever had).

I love Biryani Kebab, and I brought this up to them and they literally laughed out loud. Absolutely not one person in the kitchen or front of house was wearing any sort of mask. They said it was too hot. I totally get that things get really hot in the kitchen, but when you are preparing food during this crisis, you should wear a mask. I love this place and I think it’s a great part of our community. I hope they start wearing masks so they don’t lose more business.

I did delivery. I ordered goat curry and chicken biryani. I was totally blown away, everything was perfectly seasoned, I got a lot of goat meat in my order too which is a +. They even gave me 2 sides of the green chili( which I always have to ask for) and raita. Definitely will order again!!

We had dinner there last night. Amazing dinner for $28. We had Lamb Biryani - the rice was delicious but the lamb was a little dry. We had Bindi (okra) with tomatoes that was wonderful. The raita was tasty and they brought us a second container. The garlic nan was crispy and the best I’ve ever had. Chai is free. We even had enough to bring home for one lunch today.

Very neat and welcoming restaurant. They serve big meals and for fair prices. We liked the food very much and the staff were very amiable and chatty. Will definitely recommend this spot.

I was fortunate enough to come across this jewel about 6 years ago. The food and flavors are so fresh. This is THE BEST Indian food I’ve ever had, and I think they may be the best Indian restaurant in California. I love the curries and butter chicken and of course their naan. You cannot go wrong here.

We ordered Goat Biryani since biryani was their signature dish , along side other items.We were so disappointed that we did !All the goat meat pieces were so chewy that it was humenly not possible to eat .them.Prices were cheaper but quality of food was below average.Does not deserve any star 😑

Always a great choice for Indian/Pakistani food! Weekday lunch specials for $10-$12that include main item with rice, salad and plain naan. I LOVE their chicken vindaloo and vegetable samosas!!

Here, I ordered the Chicken Palak with biryani rice and chai tea - service was great and fast! The food was delicious and came in good portion for the price. The waitresses were very friendly and welcoming, and attentive to my need without going overboard. I highly recommend this place if anyone is looking for a fusion of Indian and Pakistani food.

You must stop by biryani Kabab in downtown Oakland. I had the best eating experience ever! The cheese naan was so good that I ended up ordering two more to go. It's perfectly made with the cheese in between the naan. The chicken tikka masala is the best! It's nice and creamy, I asked them to make mines a little mild and it was perfect for my taste buds! Would recommend this spot to anybody looking for good Indian and Pakistani food!

I ordered through postmates, and not only was I missing an entire entree (pollok paneer), I ordered three orders of cheese naan, and they were burnt to a crisp. Don’t bother going here, because they don’t care about their customers.

This is my all time favorite indian restaurant in downtown oakland. This time, I with my 6 colleagues are very satisfied as always with the new dishes- Lamb biryani, spicy chicken (tandoori), samosa and so on. Great service, neat and comfortable dining.Tips- Dont miss sweet candy and cumin looking desert at the c. They are awesome.

False advertisement: menu prices are 50% higher. Not a pleasant experience

My Experience There Was Great !& The Food was Freah/ Pallet pleasing!

I really like the lamb it's so tender and the biryani is very good and seasoned deliciously the mango chutney and Nan were tasty I usually go for the lunch special the service is ok but i went for dinner and the service was lack luster, go fir the food and not the service

The price is right! That's not the only reason though. Food is good too. Customer service is good. In my most recent order I had ordered samosa and mango lassi....both were excellent! Esp the mango lassi....it's to die for....yum yum! And I got a complimentary cup of tea to boost.

I used to go to the House Of Curries but their food wasn't spicy at all. Biryani Kabab is legit, just eat here

Great food with the best CUSTOMER service ever

I had dinner here couple of times. They have very good Indian food at reasonable prices. The service was fast and friendly. Street parking only in this area.
